District Industry Bandhu Committee Meeting Held in Bareilly Under ADM Saurabh Dubey

Bareilly: A meeting of the District Industry Bandhu Committee was convened at the Collectorate auditorium under the chairmanship of Saurabh Dubey, where key issues concerning industrial development and infrastructure were reviewed.

During the meeting, the Additional District Magistrate directed officials to promptly clear pending applications on the Investment Mitra portal, stressing the need for efficiency and timely disposal across departments.

Representatives of the Rice Millers Association raised concerns regarding the absence of street lighting on the Richa Jahanabad Road stretch, despite installations being completed by PNC on the Bareilly–Nainital Road up to Baheri. Expressing displeasure, the ADM instructed concerned authorities to ensure installation of street lights at the earliest.

The President of the Industrial Establishment, Bhojipura, highlighted severe water drainage issues in the industrial area at Peepalsana Chaudhary village, which have been disrupting movement. Taking cognizance, the ADM directed the Deputy Commissioner of Industries to conduct a site inspection and initiate necessary action.

Another major concern raised was the absence of a fire station on Richa Jahanabad Road, where as many as 62 rice mills are operational. The ADM instructed the Chief Fire Officer to expedite the process of establishing a fire station in the area to ensure safety and emergency preparedness.

Traffic-related issues were also discussed, with the Bhojipura Industries Association pointing out congestion near a कट (turning point) 50 meters ahead of Dohana Toll Plaza, where vehicles often enter the wrong lane, leading to long traffic jams. The Superintendent of Police (Traffic) was directed to address the issue promptly.

In his concluding remarks, ADM Saurabh Dubey appealed to all entrepreneurs to adopt solar energy solutions by installing solar panels at their homes and encouraging others to do the same.

The meeting was attended by officials from the Industries Department, Electricity Department, Municipal Corporation, and other related departments, along with local entrepreneurs, reflecting a collaborative effort to address industrial and civic challenges in the district.
